   The Master of Business Administration degree began in the United States when the country became more industrialized and companies and big firms needed scientific methods of business management.

    MBA degree, therefore, became an internationally-recognized master's degree formulated to develop the skills that entrepreneurs, business executives, and professionals need in business management.

The Importance of MBA
   It's very important to note that Master ofBusiness Administration degree is not limited to the business world alone. Those in the public sector like government and private industry also need it.

   Subjects that constitute the core of most MBA programs include economics, accounting, operations, and marketing, but elective courses that give participants the opportunity to follow their own professional interests are also included. Not only this; for MBA candidates, job opportunities increase as some schools make it a requirement that MBA candidates complete an internship at an organization.

Entry Requirements of MBA
    Good business schools require candidates to have a few years' professional work experience before they can be admitted into MBA program. In addition, applicants must submit Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) scores, letters of reference, academic transcripts, and a statement of purpose. Non-native English speakers have to demonstrate adequate knowledge of the use of English with TOEFL or IELTS scores.


    The MBA is today the most popular, and by far, the most, accepted professional degree program in the world, to the extent that 2,500 MBA programs are offered worldwide. Even though one-year programs have become popular nowadays, traditional two-year MBA programs are still available, especially in the United States of America, where it all started, and so are Part-time and online programs. They all exist in order to meet the varying needs of professionals and business executives all over the world relative to their time.
