Stanford MBA
Stanford University has the best business school in the
United States. There are many reasons why one should choose to pursue the MBAprogram at Stanford University. The percentages have always been changing when
it comes to the MBA program in Stanford. The reason behind these changes in
data is because of the fact that even two students are capable of bringing
these changes. The students’ pool is always changing every year and as expected
these changes are inevitable due to the different backgrounds of these
students. Every student is admitted not through category but as an individual.
Stanford MBA does not have quotas or targets when admitting students and each
applicant is accessed according to merit. Here are some of the major changes in
the class of 2017.
- There were changes in the industry categories this year to better reflect students’ backgrounds. For example, military and real estate each is its own category.
- Following industry convention, there was need to merge consumer products and services with healthcare.
- As expected, there were fluctuations in industry representation, with increases in manufacturing and technology, and a drop in consulting.
- They added grade point average to the profile.
- The number of U.S. and non-U.S. schools increased.
The above points highlight some of the major changes that
were observed in the 2017 class. These changes were not as a result of
modifications but the changes in dynamics of the students of the 2017 class. As
mentioned earlier, these students come from different schools and professions
hence the changes.
